HEATING & REFRIGERATION COURSE
What is the course about?
The course is a customized training program to learn how to install, maintain, and repair heating systems and hot water tanks.
Who is the course for?
Anyone looking for a hands on profession can benefit from this course.
The course will train you hands on to become a technician. Technicians can be hired to work in residential homes, schools, hospitals, office buildings, or factories. You can choose to take our additional courses to cover the full HVAC-R technician training.
When is the course taking place?
The course will begin on Monday Nov 30, 2015.
The course is Twice a week – Monday and Wednesday – from 4pm to 6pm for 16 sessions.
Is there certification upon completion of the course?
Upon completion you receive an OCVTS certification.
Is EPA training included?
It is not included but there is an Add-On option following the course to train you in EPA requirements. You can then take the EPA test to be certified.
What about the Air Conditioning Components?
There will be an additional customized course taking place in Spring 2016 teaching the Air Conditioning components of HVAC-R.
Do I get a license from this course?
Unfortunately we do not offer the licensing program which requires a 4 year schooling and apprenticeship program.
Is there a night course option?
There is no night course option at this time.
Do you offer this course in other locations?
At this time our only location is in a state of the art facility in Brick NJ, right outside of Lakewood.
